About the challenge
Tech4City is an emerging global innovation challenge, headquartered in Singapore and expanding across borders. We bring together young innovators to solve real urban problems with AI and technology, spanning transportation, education, community, and health.
Through a fast-growing international network, we already provide mentorship and support to young innovators in Istanbul and Madrid, with more cities joining every cycle. Participants gain hands-on workshops, expert mentorship, Huawei Cloud resources, and a global stage to present their solutions to industry judges, whether you're a first-time builder or a seasoned founder.

Who can join?
Tech4City is open to students and young innovators. Gather a team, pick the track that fits your idea, and sign up.
How much does it cost?
Nothing. Entry is completely free.
Do I need to use Huawei technology?
Solutions are expected to make use of Huawei Cloud and related technologies. We provide training and resources to help you get started.
What do I submit?
A description of your solution plus supporting materials: slides, a document, a demo video, or a link to a prototype.
Do I need a finished product?
No. A strong prototype or proof of concept is enough. The mentorship phase helps you build it further.
How are entries judged?
On innovation, social impact, technical execution, feasibility, and the quality of your pitch.
When is the deadline?
Submissions close on 15 May 2026. Register early so you have time to build, get mentor feedback, and refine your pitch.
How big can my team be?
Tech4City is a team challenge. Gather a small group and assign clear roles. Check the latest guidelines for exact team sizes.
Who owns the project we submit?
You and your team keep ownership of your work. By entering, you grant the organizers permission to showcase your submission for judging and promotion.
How will I hear the results?
We notify teams by email at each stage, using the address you registered with.
